The hotel was in a pleasant location not far from the nearby lake or Gora station as well as the cable car which goes to the nearby lake. Plus it was max 20 mins walk to the lake. The room was clean, had essentials, like a shower, a hairdryer and a bidet. And there was a good view of the mountains and greenery.

The location of this hotel is beautiful and exciting to get to. Without a car you have to take the ropeway--an aerial tram and walk a short distance to the hotel. I arrived in a dense fog, and was directed to the correct path by someone in the ropeway station. Sadly the fog was so dense that I was not able to see Mt. Fugi or the lake. He woman's bath was lovely--especially the outdoor part--except for the product advertisements in the dressing room. The dinner served as part of the rate was good, as was the breakfast. The staff was friendly and helpful.
I guess I thought the room was rather shabby for the money spent. Trying to be grand, but not quite there.

Excellent food, good service and fabulous view of the mountains and greenery. Neat and huge unit with a great decor. The location MARVELLOUS and stunning near the onsen area. Right by friendly bus stop as well as the cable car which goes to the nearby lake.

Amazing view of Mt. Fuji
Awakening to the sight of Mt. Fuji from my window was pure magic. The staff were friendly, and the onsen experience was relaxing after a long day.
The remote location had its downsides. Once the gondola stopped running, we felt a bit stranded. Be sure to arrive stocked with supplies.

The outdoor public bath offers fine views of Mount Fuji. The buffet food quality could use improvement. Friendly staff made the stay enjoyable. Less than ideal transport options to get there without a car.

The room offered fine mountain views. The onsen was very clean and excellently maintained.
Unfortunately, the dining options were quite limited, a bit disappointing.

The fine view of Mt. Fuji from my Japanese-style room was lovely. The onsen experience. A minor downside was the dinner buffet selection, which could have offered healthier options. A lovely escape!

The room was spacious and clean with a great view of Mount Fuji, but it felt a bit outdated with its decor. The tatami setup was cozy, though the manual locking door was a hassle. No bottled water but there were some snacks. A relaxing space, just a bit of a throwback in style.
